Hi! I’m Cassandra Azevedo, a former water polo player and a travel enthusiast. I was born in California in 1984, and water polo has always been a part of my life. I started playing at the age of 8, inspired by my father, an Olympic coach, and my brother, who won a silver medal with the USA national team.
I’ve traveled the world playing water polo, including competing professionally in Hungary and Italy. Each experience taught me something new and helped me grow, not just as an athlete but as a person. For me, water polo is more than just a sport: it’s a way to explore different cultures, make new friends, and discover incredible places.
Who Azeitalia?
In 2010, while my father was coaching in Camogli, I had the idea to bring teams from all over the world to Italy. My family has always lived and breathed sports and travel, so I decided to create AzeItalia to offer young athletes like you the chance to have a unique experience.
That’s how AzeItalia was born. It’s much more than just a training camp: it’s about learning, culture, and adventure. It’s for those who love water polo and want to improve while having fun. It’s for those who want to challenge themselves, learn from others, and live an all-Italian adventure.
Come to Italy, play with local teams, explore beautiful places like Camogli and the Cinque Terre, and taste authentic Italian cuisine. Experience different playing styles, make new friends, and live every day to the fullest. It’s an experience that will help you grow both in and out of the water.
